Vincent has nearly 30 years of experience as a geomatic engineer. He has had a wide-ranging involvement in the survey control of civil construction, land development and infrastructure provision within Australia and the United Kingdom.
During his time in the United Kingdom he was engaged by the Costain Taylor Woodrow Joint Venture redevelopment of Kings Cross Station, London. This engagement included oversight of daily survey monitoring, precise levelling, controlling robotic total station, Processing and analysing digital survey data, Construction and Engineering set out surveys, staff training and policy formulation.
His Australian experience has included provision of urban planning advice under the EP & A Act (NSW), the preparation of Development Applications, Statements of Environmental Effects, technical design advice, civil design, and all aspects of surveying relating to land titles and land development, engineering and construction management.
Vince Kennedy has been employed by YSCO Geomatics since his return from London in 2003. Vince’s current role within YSCO Geomatics is as Senior Surveyor and Project Manager, and a company director. He is responsible for site specific project management, road and drainage design, and delivery of large scale residential developments carried out on behalf of various clients of YSCO Geomatics.
The scale of projects typically undertaken by YSCO Geomatics requires that major infrastructure planning and development is at the core of Vincent’s daily activities.
Vince has a profound understanding of the latest surveying techniques, including Differential and RTK GPS, and Robotic Theodolites.
Since 2005, Vince has been responsible for managing all survey related input required for the 2500 residential lot Sekisui House Hermitage development at Camden.
